Since her soloist debut at age 7, violinist Jessica Linnebach has toured extensively to international acclaim and twice won the Canadian Music Competition Grand Prize. In 2000, she was named Canada’s most gifted musician under 30. She is associate concertmaster for Ottawa’s National Arts Centre Orchestra. Jessica is a founding member of the Zukerman Chamber Players, a string quintet led by Pinchas Zukerman. Accepted to the world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia at the age of ten, Jessica remains one of the youngest ever Bachelor of Music graduates in the history of the school. At eighteen, she received her Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.
The Folsom Symphony was founded in 2004 to bring beautiful classical and pops music to the Folsom region. In our ten seasons, we have presented more than 50 performances of some of the finest music ever written. At least three concerts a year are dedicated to major classical repertoire by such composers like Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky. Every December we perform a holiday concert, mixing classical with traditional, Each spring we conclude our season with a pops concert featuring mainly American composers.
