California Theatre Center

California Theatre Center (CTC) is a professional, not-for-profit theatre company that brings theatre training to life in its renowned Education Program for youth!

CTC's educational goal is to offer a positive atmosphere in which young people can gain an appreciation and love of the arts. CTC's Education Programs are process-oriented and allow students to learn that theatre is a collaborative, team-building experience. Students are guided by professional CTC teaching artists to focus their creative energy on a multitude of theatrical exercises and topics. In all of our Education Programs, students will learn and develop skills for expression, thereby building self-confidence and self-esteem.

Summer Theater Intensive

Imagine an intensive 5-day experience where people who love musical theater can work directly with experienced Broadway performers.

Each day includes class instruction on acting, singing, and dance at levels that match your experience. You'll be working with people who've performed at the highest levels in theater. Participants are given the unique opportunity to study with recognized Broadway performers and top industry professionals.

Folsom Lake Community Concert Association (FLCCA)

Attracting Folsom's youth to share the enjoyment of fine music is one focus of the association. Each year, at least one of the contracted artists performs an outreach program, where the youth of our community are invited to attend a free concert, tailored for the younger audience. These outreach programs have been held at the Folsom Community Center as well as at the local schools.

Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet

Among the many ballet disciplines, Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet bases its training in the Royal Academy of Dance, the largest teaching organization in the world. This approach emphasizes a combination of correct anatomical placement and strong technique which allows for greater artistic freedom. Sacramento Ballet

The School of the Sacramento Ballet, in an effort to meet the Sacramento community’s demand for quality dance education in a professional environment, offers classes to develop Young Artists. Instruction is offered in beginning to advanced ballet technique, pointe, repertory, contemporary, variations, boys ballet, contemporary, musical theatre, lyrical and tap. The Tutu Toddlers classes are for 18 month to 3 1/2 year olds and their participating adult to discover the joy of music, imagination and movement together.The Chilren’s Division offers classes for ages 3.5 years old and above. The Student Division offers classes for ages 8 and above, beginner to pre-professional. The Open Division offers classes for teen/adults, homeschoolers and intermediate to advance students.
