Friday, April 28 - Sunday, May 14, 2017
The Falcon's Eye closes its tenth season with Cyrano. The most legendary nose in literature gets a makeover from playwright Aaron Posner in this lively American adaptation of the 1897 French classic by Edmond Rostand. Will Roxane fall for Christian's dashing looks or Cyrano's daring poetry? Find out in this timeless tale—full of wordplay and swordplay—that's been an inspiration to writers and lovers for centuries.
The Falcon's Eye is the production arm of the Department of Theatre and Cinema at Folsom Lake College. The Sacramento News & Review praised last season's Tommy for "breathtaking production elements, a talented cast and...a renowned creative production team." In their own words, "we love to create provocative theatre that looks into what it means to be alive and how we manage to live together...to provide you with insightful theatre that brings new perspectives to your life."
