Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo Nominated to the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame

The famous couple perform tonight and tomorrow at the Harris Center in Folsom; both shows are sold out

Folsom, CA — CONGRATULATIONS TO PAT BENATAR & NEIL GIRALDO, who according to today's New York Times were nominated to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the first time.

The Harris Center is honored to have them perform tonight and tomorrow night at the Harris Center in Folsom; both shows are sold out. "Musicians become eligible for nomination 25 years after the release of their first commercial recording. A private nominating committee then makes its picks, which are voted on by more than 1,000 insiders (artists, historians and industry experts), who are instructed to consider “an artist’s musical influence on other artists, length and depth of career and the body of work, innovation and superiority in style and technique.”

Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo have been making music together for four decades and are celebrating with their 40th Anniversary Tour. They met each other in 1979 for the first time in a small rehearsal room at SIR Studios in New York City. Pat Benatar’s staggering vocals and take-no-prisoners attitude, along with Neil Giraldo’s trailblazing artistry as a guitarist, producer, and songwriter forged the undeniable chemistry and unique sound that created some of rocks most memorable hits including;  “We Belong,” “Invincible,” “Love Is A Battlefield,” “Promises In The Dark,” “We Live For Love.” Their concerts at the Harris Center today, Tuesday October 15 and Wednesday, October 16 are sold out.
