The Harris Center is excited to announce the return of ClassACTS performances this October. ClassACTS is a program that invites school children from under-served communities to enjoy the wonder of live theater. Elementary classes from Title 1 elementary schools are offered free tickets and transportation to a highly engaging production designed for kids.
On October 1 and 2, over 1,600 school children from Folsom Cordova Unified School District and Sacramento City Unified School District will visit the Harris Center. Panto Productions will be performing their interactive hit, Rumplestiltskin.
Watch the following video to learn more about the program.
This year, two additional shows are offered at a low price for charter school students and R4 homeschool students and parents.
- October 1 at 12:00 pm
- October 2 at 12:00 pm
Tickets are less than $10.
If you are interested in tickets for this event, please contact the Box Office.
The ClassACTS program is funded by donations to the Arts Opportunity Fund. If you are interested in giving to this program, please contact Regional Director of Philanthropy, Mariann Eitzman, at mariann.eitzman@losrios.edu. We would love to schedule an opportunity for you to see the production and hear the squeals of joy as children experience live theater, many for the first time in their lives.
We would also like to thank the Robert S. & Star Pepper Foundation and our community of generous donors who have contributed to this worthwhile program.
