THIS EVENT IS BEING RESCHEDULED. The Harris Center has been informed by the speaker’s bureau that represents Susan Stamberg that she will not be able to appear at the Harris Center on April 9th as originally planned.  She has had to undergo an unexpected emergency surgery and will be unable to travel to Folsom for this engagement.

As a result, the Harris Center is refunding all ticket purchases for this event.  Ticket buyers who purchased tickets by credit card, should see a credit appear on your credit card account. If you purchased with cash or check, contact the Harris Center Ticket Office to arrange a refund at (916) 608-6888 (open noon to 6 pm, Monday – Saturday).

The first woman to anchor a national nightly news program, she has won every major award in broadcasting, and has been inducted into both the Broadcasting and Radio Hall(s) of Fame. For 14 years, Susan Stamberg co-hosted National Public Radio’s All Things Considered. Now a guest host on NPR, Stamberg is well-known for her conversational style, intelligence, and knack for finding the interesting story. Her thousands of interviews include conversations with Laura Bush, Rosa Parks, Luciano Pavarotti, Stephen Sondheim, and Billy Joel. Co-sponsored by Capital Public Radio.
