Harris Center for the Arts is Setting the Stage ...with great opportunities for Sacramento area students and schools!
The Harris Center for the Arts is committed to supporting and sustaining the arts across the Sacramento region. Fostering excellence in the arts, nurturing the next generation of performing artists, and making the arts experience an accessible and inspirational part of children's lives is the mission of our arts education program.
Harris Center for the Arts presents to students grades K-12, a school-time matinee program that will feature a wide variety of performances featuring world-class artists. Music, dance, theatre, and more will engage and delight students of all ages! Productions will be selected with a focus on cirriculum areas such as world languages, social students, and language arts will include a study guide for teachers based on California Content Standards. Extending your student's arts education beyond the classroom offers a lifelong experience that will play a vital role in their development.
