romance in the air as we set course for southern latitudes and sway to the “New Wave” magic of Brazil's Bossa Nova infusing the relaxed stylings of local band “Que Bossa”. Swim into the waves of jazz rhythms and dive into the depths of gospel with FLC Falcon's Choirs. Then, prepare to be enthralled by tales of high seas adventures as Cantare Chorale of the Sierra Foothills hits the stage with rousing Sea Shanties! So come aboard and let the FLC Falcon's Choirs and their special guests be your musical compass to an evening of good fun.

Que Bossa is keeping the Bossa Nova vibe alive by performing Brazilian standards and “Bossafied”
modern songs, from Led Zeppelin to Todd Rundgren to Nirvana. Our super-chill tunes are a great musical background for wine tasting, dining, picnics, sipping beer, or just enjoying a beautiful Northern California evening.

Folsom Lake College Falcon's Choir
The Folsom Lake College Falcon’s Choirs, under the direction of Mariia Pechenova, comprised of students and community members from a wide variety of academic and professional disciplines. The purpose of college choirs is to teach music through performance and to develop ensemble singing skills and appreciation for the art of choral music. The Falcon's Choirs perform a wide range of choral repertoire, encompassing exciting selections of musical eras, from early Italian Baroque to today's Contemporary compositions, including Jazz, American folk, Spirituals and Gospel music. All interested and “want-to-be” ‐ singers are encouraged to join these ensembles both in the fall and spring of each academic year.

Cantare Chorale of the Sierra Foothills
First organized in 1992, Cantare Chorale is comprised of members who come from diverse backgrounds, yet all share the common goal of singing quality choral music. You may have seen the chorale perform at other venues including the Capitol Rotunda Holiday Music Program, Imagination Theater, Memorial and Veterans Day tributes, the Placerville Festival of Lights, the Community Concert Series, the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce mixer, Music on the Divine, SacSings! with the Sacramento Choral Festival, and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Cantare's concerts emphasize vocal variety with colorful insights into the composers and the selections. You're sure to enjoy their 4- to 10- part harmony and diverse musical choices.
