Enjoy a romantic evening with the Folsom Lake Symphony. This Valentine’s Day programming includes the attraction of J. Strauss II’s “Emperor” Waltzes, the romance of R. Strauss' Suite from Der Rosenkavalier (Knight of the Rose), and all the passion and lyrical moments of the Grieg Piano Concerto. Canadian pianist Sheng Cai has performed worldwide with many top orchestras including the Toronto, New Bedford, Shanghai, Harbin symphonies and the Krakow, Jalisco and Boca del Rio Philharmonics. Mr. Cai has studied at Toronto's Royal Conservatory of Music and Juilliard Pre-College, and received his Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston.
